Brewery Tap Room Staff

Overview
We are looking for fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic staff to join our team. Primary duties are to set-up, run and close the tasting room at the brewery.

Schedule
Wednesday through Sunday availability

Responsibilities
For us, the ideal candidate:

  • Has a strong desire to work in the craft beer industry and willingness to learn as much as possible about our brewery, process and products to represent us appropriately.
  • Must be 21+.
  • Will have prior experience bartending & serving in fast paced environment. Previous brewery or craft beer retail experience a plus.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be TIPs certified prior to start of employment.
  • Able to stand for duration of shift.
  • Will be clean & organized.
  • Honest, reliable, eager to learn & hardworking.
  • Able to comply with and apply tap room guidelines
  • Will be someone outgoing and will have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to attend and help staff events outside of the brewery.
  • Will help maintain a welcoming, educational, exciting and inviting experience
  • Will be able to work in a brewery setting, operating effectively with continuous, moderate noise levels

Tap Room Cook

Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate cook/prep cook to join our opening team. At least 2 years of field culinary experience is required.

Schedule
Wednesday through Sunday, Part Time

Responsibilities
The cook at RiverWalk will be involved in all aspects of food preparation and service, including:

  • Properly opening and closing tap room kitchen
  • Keeping a clean and safe kitchen environment always, following standards set for cleanliness.
  • Receiving, preparing & maintaining all foods safely in correlation with Dept. of Health standards
  • Maintaining and tracking pars for purpose of food ordering
  • Coordinate with the tap room manager in relation to shift execution, ordering, special events & menu specials.
  • Work well with all members of staff, teamwork is crucial!

Required Knowledge/Skills

  • ServSafe Certification is preferred
  • Proficient Knife Skills
  • MS Excel experience is a plus
