About Us
At Riverwalk, we are 100% family, community,
and employee-owned.
Riverwalk was founded in 2012 by Steve and Betsy Sanderson, as they sought to share their love of worldly beer with the local community. From a sub-leased basement and a “growler only” business model, the brewery has grown into a state-of-the-art production facility and taproom in Newburyport.

Great beers in an awesome space. Lots of outdoor seating and plenty of indoor space too. Make sure you walk to the back! They have some food options too. The Nachos are huge and great to share!

Love everything about this place. Great thin curst pizza that a Bostonian, New Yorker or Italian would like. Great beer and I loved that I could buy 2, 4 packs and get a free pizza to go...

Beer and pizza are great. Nice outdoor seating and very family and dog friendly. Staff are great too. They also have a nice waiting area stocked with games in case you have a bit of a wait for a table.
